Two star focuses on basic flat-water paddling skills. The emphasis is on creating the desired movement of the boat through developing an understanding of cause and effect rather than concentrating on rigidly defined strokes. This course provides an excellent introduction to paddle strokes and rescues.

After you take the Two Star Training course, you should practice the skills you have learned. Once you are comfortable with your new skills you should be ready for Two Star Assessment. Prerequisite: None.

Two Star Training costs $125 and the Assessment costs $125 (Assessment includes BCU fees).
